Koby Rogers Hall - EAP Committee
Koby Rogers Hall is a young professional and artist living and working in Montreal. As a cultural consultant she’s worked across Canada, in the United States and Europe for governmental and arts agencies alike. She is passionate about cross-cultural exchange in the arts, and the role of emerging artists as the next generation of cultural producers.
Her work on numerous international projects include: Judith Marcuse’s UNESCO sponsored EARTH project (Vancouver); the Arts Network for Youth and Children, and the Culture Shock festival (Harbourfront Centre, Toronto); the cross-Canada Performance Creation Canada conferences, and now the Emerging Arts Professionals Network. She currently sits on the board for Arden2, a collective based in Los Angeles and dedicated to cultural exchange between North American and Eastern European artists.
Koby is the founding Artistic Director of Mischief Theatre, where her work as a creator/performer/director has played in bars in Toronto, a warehouse in Vancouver, the desert in Oregon and soon an alleyway in Montreal. Koby holds a BFA in Creative Ensemble from York University. She is a recipient of the Government of Canada Millennium Excellence Award for innovation in her field (2003, 2004), and the Zonta Club of Ottawa Emerging Artists Award (2005).
These days you can find her roaming the halls of the Programming Department at Place des Arts in Montreal, and editing endless material for the Quebec Drama Federation.
