Blair Francey - Editor

Born and raised in Toronto, Blair has been working non-stop in the performing arts sector since his high-school days. In 1997, he became the youngest produced playwright in the Rhubarb! Festival (Buddies in Bad Times Theatre) at the age of 17.

Blair has worked in various capacities in the performing arts since then. He was a technician for four years at the Toronto Fringe Festival, has been the graphic designer for a number of productions in Toronto, has been the Art Director for the Dora Mavor Moore Awards since 2000 and designed the AV component for the Siminovitch Prize since 2004. He also graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada‘s playwriting program in 2004. Excerpts from his work will be published in the spring of 2007 by Playwrights Canada Press in a new anthology edited by Sky Gilbert. Currently he is the Director of Communications and Membership for the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA), a board member for Cow Over Moon Children's Theatre, the Editor for EAP, and working on a few other contracts because he just doesn't do enough now.
