Gabrielle Fisher Horvath
The Career Path of An Artist

In the last twenty years my style of work has changed, evolved and developed in-to what it is today. Every step brought me to the one I’m at. I’ve always been an artist so the career path has not changed….but because the style of work has my choices are different in many ways.

I’m wondering if those that are just starting realize how their paths will change. The “Career Path” as an artist is truly challenging and they as artists will be tested over and over again. Experience is a fine teacher, but artists in particular cannot predict their career outcome. The variables are enormous.

I could not have predicted the road I’m on, but love what I do so much I’m in it for the long haul.

Gabrielle Horvath is a figurative bronze sculptor. Born         in Hungary, Gabrielle fled to Canada as a child with her mother         during the 1956 revolution. Her education in art has spanned the         last twenty five years in various parts of the United States and         Canada.       Horvath’s work has been exhibited at The Meisner Foundry,      The Long Island Art League and at numerous solo and group shows       in the Toronto area. Her work was also showcased in publications       such as New York’s Distinction magazine and more recently       the Toronto magazine, North of the City. She has appeared on Toronto       Breakfast Television, and Hamilton network CHTV showcased her talent       in front of a live audience.

An artist, I think, will never be a pure artist for a lifetime. It’s rare to dedicate a life for art. But, I really appreciate a man or women whom dedicated their life as an artist

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It’s the old what goes around comes around routine. Did you acquired lots of links and I see lots of trackbacks?
