1. STANDING ROOM ONLY - Phillip Kotler
the authors review the key marketing functions that we are all aware of, but they do it in an arts management context and give a lot of examples. Very textbook-y. I think it is a text book in many arts management courses. It's a good one.

2. THE LONG TAIL - Chris Anderson
All about the rise of the niche. Markets are shifting from one-size-fits-all to one of unlimited variety for unique tastes. Although it's not an "arts management" book it definitely applies to the "always have been niche!' feeling of indie performing arts. Why did I like it? The idea of being able to figure out the specific 100 people who would be interested in production X, and figuring out exactly how to appeal to them and get them to the show? (Mr. Burns voice) Excellent…

and everyone better have read The Tipping Point (Malcolm Gladwell) by now…

I love reading!
I bet they have some hidden tips that really help in the marketing area. Thanks for the suggestion!
Very nice that people here is encouraged to reading instead of other activities. Nice!!
Aficionados of art need no formal training, for art is an inborn talent. However you may nurture this innate skill by going through the assorted collection of books on art. They not only provide an insight into the various forms of drawing but also offer tips to enhance artwork. Below books are really very nice and i like most:
Art in the World
Franklin on Fashion
Art in Focus
Twenties
Dictionary of Avant Gardes
Marketing is obviously a well researched area. Reading is good, but it’s always changing. Not sure when these books were released, but staying current with marketing is equally important imo.

The wording on the WG bonus, apart from being unnecessarily confusing (it’s tradition) jewelry boxes, is unfinished. The 0% is just a placeholder. “reduces 0% less” does not mean that the WG ticks no longer reduce in strength and instead keep ticking at the full ~800 (or whatever your first tick goes for) pearls.
That 0% is a placeholder number and will be replaced by some arbitrary number like 5, 20, 50% to become “The healing granted by your Wild Growth spell reduces 30% less over time.” That is, the subsequent ticks of your WG are now 30% stronger than they were before you had your 2pc set on.
That makes a whole lot more sense than 0%=does not change, for these reasons:
* it’s clearly a placeholder. 0%?
* does anyone really think they would give us a 2pc bonus that would allow our WG to tick at full strength on (up to) 6 people? Even though only a tick or three will usually be useful, with the rest going to overheal cuff links, that’s still a little over the top, especially on fights with constant damage (where WG will likely tick for the full duration) – the kind of fights that people complain that druids are “OP”. This would make the numbers skewed even more in our favour on these aura fights.
* finally, if they wanted to say that it didn’t reduce, they would just say “no longer reduces over time” instead of putting a % in. Of course, there’s a slim chance it will say “100%”, meaning no reduction in ticks, but that’s just being wordy for the sake of it.
I have read those books and they have essential information which is very useful from the perspective of marketing.

Excellent information..I think one of the best things is to deliver the solution to the problem they need solved. Whether they are looking for information or a specific problem, if you focus on solving their problem you will have a customer. If you are offering a service that they may not really feel the need for, then you need to figure out a reason to present to them of why they do need what you offer.
I am just new to the marketing and i am having a great kind of dreams and aims . and as my professionality begains and i dont know how to withstand in this carrier.. Any suggession?...
